Thrilled and humbled to announce my book of essays entitled “My Body” will be published by Metropolitan Books @macmillanusa @henryholtbooks. It’s surreal to be working with an imprint that has published so many writers I admire (Noam Chomsky! Edward Snowden!) Now it’s time to get to work!

Thrilled to announce my partnership with @loopsbeauty. I’m obsessed with these masks and excited for what’s to come as partner and creative director. Follow @loopsbeauty for exclusive beauty and face care related content. Can’t wait till you all get to try them all. ✨

So grateful for these images and this conversation with my friend @inezandvinoodh in @vmagazine. Check out our conversation about collaboration, essays, empathetic men, marriage and control. Online now and inside V126🤍

My @kerastase_official family is launching the first youth revitalizing hair care ritual. I’m so proud to finally share with you our campaign for the new #Chronologiste! Shot by the dream team @inezandvinoodh. #LiveBeyondTime #KerastaseClub #Kerastase

Before my essay was published on Tuesday, I was so nervous that I couldn’t sleep. I had to keep reminding myself why I’d written it and decided to publish it at all. I thought about my younger self and the healing that writing about something you once couldn’t even talk about provides. Mostly I focused on the hope that other women might recognize their own experiences in reading my story. It’s been nothing short of life-changing to see how many women (and men!) this piece resonated with. Thank you to every single person who read, shared, commented and tagged me. I can’t tell you what it feels like to see my words in print and to hear from each and everyone of you. Thank you.

Making of. Thanks to @tinatyrell @roosterkitsch and @ericmestman for creating this visual to accompany my essay. “Buying Myself Back” is an extremely personal piece about image, power and consent. Thank you @nymag @thecut. Link is in my bio to read!
